For
the second half of todays lesson, I begun experimenting with different
editing effects on Adobe Premier Pro. The first is a sepia effect. I
thought this oculd be used within the woodland scenes of the video,
conveying a vintage and eccentric image, and also reflecting the
sub-genre of Indie/ Rock music videos, as this is sometimes used, as
shown below.
The second technique is Black and White. I thought this could be effective within our music video in the flash back scenes towards the end, as it connotes an archaic sense: the idea that the memories were in the past. For example, we will be using a flashback scene of the male and female dancing in the woods, and this effect will soften th eimage, connoting a naturalistic moment.
