For the advert, I adopted the same background as use don the front cover of the album. This is because it is something which is frequently done in regards to other albums/ posters of the same genre which I have researched, and also, it establishes that sense of continuity and consistency between both products.
Again, I have used the same font as on the front cover of my music album (Bernard Condensed). This is again, to maintain the continuity, and also in terms of brand identity, it makes the music artist recognizable to the target audience.
The name of the album is also in the same font, however this is smaller to keep the main attention of the poster on the artist itself.
Again, I have used the camera positioned on top of the sky background as an entropic element, and also emphasizing the idea of a mysterious stalker, a theme which runs throughout the video and the album. This establishes the artist in terms of star image, and creates an interesting picture for the target audience.
I have included ratings from popular ,music magazines, as this is something I have seen being used on other music album promotion posters. Also, this intrigues the target audience as they will be more likely to buy the album when hearing amazing reviews from professional names within the music industry.
Lastly, I have added the date of the album release (in a slightly different and italic font to differentiate it from the artist name and name of the album. This makes the release date easy to identify for the target audience.) I have also added an Itunes and HMV logo, so the target audience is aware where they can purchase the album. On the bottom right corner, I have also included the artists website as an extra piece of information for the target audience.
